Appointment Description
A prenatal consultation will lay the groundwork for your breastfeeding journey and allow you to discuss any possible concerns you may have. This consultation would include nipple measurement, flange fitting and understanding the art of hand expression, which is especially useful to kickstart your breastfeeding journey. It is ideal for mothers who have approached their 30th week of pregnancy and/or had a previously challenging breastfeeding journey or other breast anomalies (i.e., breast reductions, enhancements, flat or inverted nipples etc.).
When Can You Start
You may book a consultation anytime between your 30th to 36th week of pregnancy.
Consultation Style & Format
As this is a private consultation, one of our Lactation Specialists will meet with you physically at the Hegen Lactation Centre or virtually via Zoom. Partners are welcome.
